As we can read in Springer Link, based in an article from Shelby D. Hunt published in Journal of The Academy of Marketing Science:

"Sustainable marketing may be viewed as marketing that is within, and supportive of, sustainable economic development.

Shelby D. Hunt also refers in his article: "Peattie (The Marketing Review 2(2):129–146, 2001) maintains that sustainable economic development poses major challenges for marketing. These challenges concern futurity, equity, and needs/wants."

What about if we start giving more importance to the eggs than keep neglecting chickens as beings for the sake of fat revenues? 

Sustainable Marketing may eventually mean a new paradigm of thinking, approaching or policing.
